Overview - What is ECAN?

ECAN - the Edinburgh Chartered Architects Network - is a group of architectural practices incorporated by the EAA - A chapter of the RIAS - Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland. It provides a shared framework for professional back-up and peer review of standards.

ECAN started in 1998 and its members meet on a monthly basis to exchange ideas and information of current interest in the design and construction fields. At present there are around 40 members (click here for list of members ) providing a wide array of skills and experience, to suit the requirements of most people needing help with a construction project.

You can seek a free initial consultation with your ECAN architect every second weekend at the ESPC – the Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre, in George Street, Edinburgh, from the hours of 11:00am until 2:00pm. Check with the ESPC for our schedule.
